This dataset shows how much petrol, diesel, aviation fuel and cooking gas moves through Nigeria's fuel supply chain, and what it costs at retail. If you run filling stations, haulage, logistics, LPG distribution or any business where fuel is a major cost or revenue line, these figures help you size the market, spot seasonal demand patterns and plan stock and pricing.
The core series is monthly petrol (PMS) truck-out volumes from 2015 to 2023 — the litres actually dispatched from depots each month. This reveals which months demand peaks (for example, March volumes consistently run higher than February) so you can time promotions, fleet deployment and inventory. A 2017 import breakdown shows monthly volumes of petrol, diesel, kerosene, aviation fuel and fuel oil brought into the country.
Recent regulator factsheets (April-June 2026) add current daily supply figures: petrol supply of 44-47 million litres per day, the split between domestic refinery output and imports, and diesel supply movements. June 2026 daily average receipts cover petrol, diesel, aviation fuel and LPG, and a separate tab lists LPG retail prices per kilogram — useful for anyone pricing cooking gas or assessing margins in the LPG retail chain.
