This dataset pulls together the official U.S. government economic release covering all 50 states and the District of Columbia. It shows which states grew fastest in the second quarter of 2025, how personal income moved, and which industries drove the gains — the kind of context that informs where to expand, hire, or invest.
GDP grew 3.8% nationally at an annual rate in Q2 2025, with North Dakota leading at 7.3% on the strength of oil and gas. Personal income rose 5.5% nationally, ranging from a 10.4% jump in Kansas to just 0.9% in Arkansas. The data also names the leading industry behind each top-performing state's growth.
